Ok so I mentioned in a previous blog post that I would love to buy a black El Camino. It is not really practic
al to have and I already have a
perfectly good car but after work today I was driving home and saw this car for sale in the Har
ris Teeter parking lot. I am not sure what it was that made me dec
ide to pull over but I just had to check it out. I real
ly had no intention of buying the car but the owner was still there posting another sign on the window. I asked him how much it was and he gave me an of
fer I could not refuse. He had inherited the car from his older br
other who had passed away suddenly. He really was looking to get rid of it. When I say really, I mean
REALLY! I have been saving up for a pair of race wheels but come on, how could I pass up the opp
ortunity to own my dream car!!?!! The exterior is close to a perfect dent-free matte black. The interior needs a little bit of work. It is not perfect but most
ly superficial imperfections. I am going to take it to the shop tomorrow and if everything goe
s well I am going to be the proud owner of a black El Camino!! Now . . . the second part to owning an El Camino is this bike rack in the back. Anyone out there into welding?
